Dr Neville Steer

Dr Steer has lived and practiced medicine in Traralgon since 1983. After growing up on a farm in South Australia he studied medicine at the University of Adelaide. Having a rural background he was always interested in working and living in rural and regional areas.

Dr Steer continues his obstetric practice at the Latrobe Regional Hospital and is always happy to see new patients for pregnancy care. He is also interested in weight management and has undertaken further studies in this area.

Behind the scenes in general practice there is always a lot going on to improve services for the community. Dr Steer is involved in national committees working to provide better and sustainable general practice services. He also has additional qualifications in management and runs a private general practice consultancy business, GPR Australia
