Dr Phare joined Breed Street Clinic in November 2003 after being recruited by the Clinic from the United Kingdom.

He is a fully qualified General Practitioner, who has worked in Accident and Emergency, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Children’s Medicine, General Medicine and General Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

He trained in Cardiff between 1990 and 1996, then completed GP training around the United Kingdom.

In addition to his medical experience, Dr Phare also has an additional degree in Medical Biochemistry, which he says is useful in considering how medicines work and interact.
